To assist us in providing our rental platform, products and services and otherwise conducting our business functions and activities, we need to collect personal information about you.


By providing your personal information, you agree that it will be used and disclosed by Hutly Pay Pty Ltd ACN 93 639 351 009 in accordance with this statement and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must not provide your personal information, and we may not be able to communicate with you or provide certain products or services to you.

We may disclose your personal information to other parties, including to our related entities, your local real estate institute (if it takes over or replaces our rental platform), or to third parties (e.g. integrators) who provide plug-ins to our platform, or who provide products and services to us or through us in the ordinary operation, administration or promotion of our business and otherwise in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

From time to time, these third parties may be located (and therefore your personal information may be disclosed) overseas.We may use and disclose your personal information for direct marketing purposes, unless you opt out (which you can do at any time in accordance with our Privacy Policy), and for identifying and facilitating further marketing communications from relevant third parties (such as integrators) if you ask us to.

Our Privacy Policy contains information about how you may access and seek correction of your personal information, how you may complain about a breach of your privacy, and how we will deal with that complaint.

Why do I need to setup an account?
To ensure we meet our regulatory obligations when you first lodge a notice of claim we are required to complete a know your customer check and take steps to ensure the bank account details provided are correct. These checks are completed when you first set up your account.
Why do I need to upload documentation when making a claim?
When you commence a dispute we need to make sure all documentation is in order, including:
- checking the tenancy agreement is in place
- checking you are the Rental Provider's representative by checking the authority
- check that the Rental Provider owns the property

Essentially, some basic checks so we can offer you a great service and experience.
Instant payment of a claim
We know you have a business to run so when a notice of claim is lodged with Bondable you will be instantly paid the claim amount. The claim amount can be up to a month's rent and may include non-payment of rent. You must then actively work to resolve the claim through our digital mediation process.
What happens if a Renter misses a payment
Life happens! If a Renter misses a payment we will give the Renter 7 days to make good on that payment.
If, after 7 days the Renter has not made payment we will then commence a collections process.
At this point, there is no impact on the Renter's credit score, we will do what we can to help the Renter get back on track.
Is Bondable a credit product?
Yes. We undertake a credit check on Renters as part of the application process. It doesn't impact a Renter's credit score. We want to make sure Bondable customers are never disadvantaged by using our products.
